My experience as a User-Centered Design Practitioner, Technical Trainer, Writer and Instructional Designer is extensive. I have worked in a variety of roles throughout my career such as usability, GUI design, technical training, instructional design, multimedia production, voiceover and technical writing. I’m all about bringing stakeholders together; developers, business owners and users. It is a challenge I meet head-on with a no nonsense approach to distilling complex tools, processes and concepts into user experiences that delight, excite and motivate.

Outlook

Creating departments, disciplines and best practices in companies that are seeking help crafting a vision of what they could be, not just who they are, is where I thrive. Over the course of 15 years I have spear-headed the establishment of usability and training disciplines in almost every organization I’ve been affiliated with while keeping a keen eye on satisfying established business objectives and encouraging thought leaders to adopt new ones.

Next Steps

Building relationships with customers, clients, employees and associates who will stay with you because they couldn’t imagine working with anyone else is a core value of mine.  Creating environments that nurture and sustain that loyalty is crucial to success now and in the future. I am looking to partner as a staff member or contractor with organizations who share that vision.
