You ever notice how being real with yourself can turn into self-criticism or worse? It happens to me and it makes it so much harder to get better at…being me. What we think we see in ourselves doesn’t mean it’s true.
Look, we mess up all the time…we shouldn’t confuse that with being a MESS…as humans we’re messy, OK? It’s our nature.
What helps more than self-loathing is self-compassion. Talk it out with someone, make a plan, put your big-girl or boy pants on and get on with it.
