About Jeff

I work with organizational change executives, leaders, managers, and agents who are ready to leave the past behind and bring the future into the present. Change can be messy—frustration, doubt, anger, confusion—it’s all part of the process, and I’m here to guide you through it with clarity and purpose.

For over 20 years, I’ve been an organizational change manager, consultant, and coach. I’ve worked with leaders across industries who’ve felt stuck, unsure, or overwhelmed, and together, we’ve moved through the challenges to create lasting transformations. My background combines organizational change management, mindfulness practices, leadership coaching, and anti-racism work, giving me a unique toolkit to meet your needs.

My personal journey is deeply connected to the question so many of us face: “What now?”

I’ve grappled with this question myself and know the weight of those decisions. I’ve experienced the highs and lows of career transitions, from being laid off and rebooting to receiving promotions, resigning, and facilitating those same changes for others. On a personal level, I’ve made bold moves that have shaped who I am today:

  • In 2000, after a tough divorce, I remarried. Shawn lived in Philadelphia; I was in Los Angeles. For a year, we flew back and forth every other week to be together.
  • In 2001, we moved our relationship from the phone and plane to a house in L.A.
  • In 2005, we took a leap, moving to Raleigh, North Carolina, to build a life together—without any job prospects.
  • In 2009, I was laid off, rebooted, and started working as a consultant.
  • In 2011, we sold our house and moved to Regina, Saskatchewan for a work opportunity.
  • In 2013, we moved again, this time to Victoria, British Columbia.
  • In 2018, we became permanent residents of Canada.
  • In 2020, we proudly became Canadian citizens.
  • In 2021, we bought our first home in Canada.
  • In 2024, we moved back to the U.S. (Seattle), once again with no job prospects.

These experiences taught me that every “Now what?” decision—whether for a $100 million organizational transformation or an individual seeking something new—requires a process. It demands planning, emotional resilience, and a clear sense of purpose. I bring this lived experience to my work, helping clients navigate their own pivotal moments with clarity and confidence.

Mindfulness and meditation are also central to my approach. As a certified meditation teacher with over 300 hours of training, I integrate tools for focus, self-awareness, and emotional regulation into the work we do. Whether it’s cultivating calm in the face of uncertainty or finding clarity in decision-making, mindfulness can be a powerful ally. My daily practice and regular silent retreats ground me and serve as a foundation for guiding others.

In addition to my professional expertise, I’ve been deeply engaged in anti-racism work since 2009. This journey has taught me the importance of reflecting on privilege, fostering accountability, and creating spaces for growth and equity. I bring this lens into all aspects of my coaching and consulting, helping individuals and organizations foster inclusivity and liberation from systemic inequities.

When we work together, the approach is always tailored to your unique needs. We might use traditional coaching, mindfulness techniques, brainstorming, role-playing, or feedback on your plans—whatever gets us closer to your goals. Together, we’ll build strategies, insight, and momentum to help you thrive, whether in your career, your organization, or your personal transformation.
